Of these, a handful have specialized certifications or associate degrees pertaining to this niche exclusively.
Winner of the 2010 Excellence in Education Award granted by the National Kitchen and Bath Association, Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho, offers kitchen and bath courses incorporated in its comprehensive interior design program. With the aim of preparing students to engage in kitchen and bath design immediately upon graduation, the department focuses on developing problem solving skills, design proficiency and an aesthetic eye.
Boston Architectural College
The Boston Architectural College in Massachusetts offers a kitchen and bath certification program which encompasses 12 required classes for a total of 33 college credits. These courses include drawing, construction, business strategies, and mechanical and lighting aspects unique to kitchen and bath renovations. Design classes focus on architectural and interior decorating elements, as well as material estimation.
Art Institute of York Pennsylvania
The Art Institute of York Pennsylvania offers an associate degree in kitchen and bath design.
